October 10th 2019 was World Mental Health Awareness day and in our continued drive to support local charity we were really pleased to raise and incredible, £3,131.52 in aid of CPSL Mind. Each year in the UK, 1 in 4 people experience a mental health problem, Mind supports and empowers those to overcome any challenges they may be experiencing.
We held a day of fundraising activities, an honourable mention to internal account managers Scott and Steve who agreed to shave not only their hair but also their eyebrows if we were to raise a minimum of £1300. Alongside this we donated a percentage of all sales of our orange diamond-textured glove, Aurelia Ignite as well as hosting a bake sale.
Directors Iain and Kelly Crawford generously agreed to match everything that was raised.
Iain and Kelly said 'We are so happy to announce that we have raised an incredible £3,131.52 following a day of fundraising festivities in support of World Mental Health Day for CPSL Mind. As a business we are big advocates of supporting local charity, especially one that supports and empowers anyone experiencing a mental health problem, something that is very close to all of our hearts. From bake sales to shaving heads and eyebrows, we really united as a business and are very proud of the amount we raised in such a short period of time'.
Zoe Doherty, Fundraiser or CPSL Mind said, 'We are extremely impressed with how much money Supermax Healthcare raised in such a short space of time and the number of fundraising activities they organised. This amazing donation will be used to help local people in their recovery from mental health challenges. A huge thank you to everyone who was involved'.
