Planning Permission Granted

As we go into our 10th year of trading in the UK and Europe, we couldn’t be more thrilled to announce that planning permission has been granted for our new purpose built UK HQ in Kingston Park, Peterborough.

This landmark news in our relatively short tenure, highlights and solidifies our commitment to the hand-protection sector, our partners and the local community.

Jonathan Judge, Group Managing Director highlights: After a decade of continued growth and success we have outgrown our current site, so we were all delighted to get the news from the council that our application has been approved. It’s an exciting time for everyone and an important milestone in the journey of Supermax Healthcare.

Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming building development.

Macmillan Coffee Morning 2023

On Friday 29th September, Group Operations Manager Rachel Mcmanamon and Group Buying Manager, Krissy Mills, with support from our Wellbeing Committee came together to host our 3rd annual coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Macmillan is a remarkable organisation: providing emotional, practical, physical, and financial support to those living with, and those impacted by cancer.

According to Macmillan, 167,000 people on average die every year from cancer related illnesses in the UK, and they predict there is currently 3 million people in the UK living with different forms of the disease - it is estimated that figure will rise to 4 million by 2030. It is important to us as individuals and as an organisation that we are helping to support those in need; this also runs in-line with one of our core values, Compassion.

We would love to extend our thanks to friends and neighbours at SDJ Sports who kindly donated a coffee machine, Lincolnshire Field Products for the veggie hamper (a tombola table favourite), and all the office-based staff that brought along tombola prizes, as well as sweet and savoury snacks.

Krissy Highlights: Macmillan are 98% funded by voluntary donations so fundraising is critical to helping to deliver the help and support for those affected by cancer. This is a charity very close to the heart of everyone here at Supermax so the annual Coffee Morning is a great way for us to show our support and come together as a company to achieve a collective goal. We could not be more proud of the team, coming together to raise in excess of £1,100 for such an great cause.

Thank you once again to all those involved in this hugely successful event.
